About the Chapter

The Chapter membership is comprised of military, civilian, and industry partners from Cyber Operations, Communications and Information Technology, Electronic Warfare, Intelligence, and Engineering communities related to each. Members are primarily from Eglin AFB, Hurlburt Field, Duke Field, and the Army Special Forces Group in the NW Florida panhandle. The organizations and Commands include the 96th Test Wing, 53rd Test Wing, 33rd Fighter Wing, Air Force Research Laboratory, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, 1st Special Operations Wing, 919th Special Operations Wing, 7th Special Forces Group, Navy EOD School, 20 Space Control Squadron, Air Force Special Operations Command, Air Combat Command, Air Force Materiel Command, and Air Education and Training Command. We raise funds to provide college scholarships and high school science teaching grants and student awards for those participating in Northwest Florida Science Fair, and host technical expositions. The Chapter holds quarterly luncheons to advocate Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics through membership and scholarships. Local corporate sponsors are vital to the health and success of our organization. Semi- annual tech expos are hosted at both Eglin and Hurlburt to facilitate advancement of new technology, resources, and applications.
